| Course Load A student may take a maximum of two summer session courses concurrently. Permission to take more than two courses or 6 credit hours must be obtained from the student's academic dean. A student taking courses through the Office of University Students (nondegree) must register for a minimum of 3 credit hours in any one session. Grades Grades are issued by the Office of the Registrar at the end of each 6-week session. Grades are not given out by instructors. In general, the following system is used. For undergraduate courses: A, Excellent; B, Good; C, Satisfactory; D, Low Pass; F, Fail; I, Incomplete; IPG, In-Progress; P, Pass; NP, No Pass; W, Authorized Withdrawal; Z, Unauthorized Withdrawal. The following grades are also available: A-, B+, B-, C+, C-, D+, D-. For graduate courses: A, Excellent; B, Good; C, Minimum Pass; F, Fail; I, Incomplete; IPG, In-Progress; CR, Credit; W, Authorized Withdrawal; Z, Unauthorized Withdrawal.
